Český Krumlov
Feb 14, 2007 – 11:11 amThe WIFI connection was bad in the previous residence . It kept disconnecting in every single minute so we didn’t write much.
Yesterday we travelled by bus for 3 hrs southward to “the world’s most beautiful European town”, Český Krumlov. We now live in a small but clean room on the second floor which is the top floor of a 16th century medieval age building (they call this pension which means refurnished residence for rental use). Indeed the town is amazingly beautiful and I really like the way they freezed the town as it was in 16th century. We walked on medieval stone paths and wooden bridges, we visited some very old buildings and the castle, we also had medieval meat feast and fresh beer.
However it is in low season now so the town is less crowded than expected. It is so cold, dark and silent at night after about 6pm. I am sure I cannot stand it if I have to live here like local people! So we slept early at 9pm and I am awake now at 5am. I am writing down this message on paper so that I can go to the tourist center in the town center tomorrow and pay for internet service in order to upload these words.
We will stay here for one more night and then go to next town in the next morning, just as planned, but we will leave that town and back to Praha directly at night. More photos will be posted if internet connection is stable.
